Strength of Components
Mechanical-Technological Testing

Field of activity

  • Mechanical-technological testing of specimens, structural elements and components made of metallic materials (tensile, compression, flexure and torsion tests, hardness tests, notched bar impact tests, etc.)
  • Investigation of the strength and deformation behavior of components and structures; performance of load tests under static and oscillating load action in conjunction with experimental stress-strain analysis; expert opinions for component approvals
  • Technological tests on sheets and wires (cupping test, bending test) as well as determination of the adhesive strength of zinc coatings
  • Non-destructive testing of components (magnetic particle, ultrasonic, eddy current, X-ray testing, crack detection by the dye penetrant method, coating thickness measurement)
  • According to § 28 para. 1 of the Hessian Building Code (HBO) recognized testing, inspection and certification body for construction products and types of construction such as:
    • – Fasteners in steel construction e.g. HV screws
    • – Connecting elements for steel and aluminum profiles in roof and facade construction e.g. rivets, drilling screws, set bolts
    • – Substructures and hangers for suspended ceilings and components made of metal
    • – Components and connecting elements made of stainless steels e.g. screws, sheets, tubes, profiles
    • – Prestressed reinforced concrete beams
    • – Room trusses
