In the field of expertise Mineral Construction Materials, comprehensive questions regarding the product qualification of different building materials are dealt with. A main area is the testing, monitoring and certification of concrete. This is valid for both fresh concrete (moni-toring of ready-mix concrete plants) and hardened concrete (testing of the mechanical characteristics). The concrete-technological evaluation of existing buildings, which are tested in the context of extensions or conversions, represents a further part of the work in this field of expertise. Failure analyses within the scope of the mineral construction materials draws from a high degree of experience and knowledge of all processing stages of concrete. This allows for the experience gained from the monitoring of gravel plants to be applied everywhere from delivery concrete plants to hardened concrete characteristics.
Due to our existing testing facilities, we can also offer investigations of construction units, e.g. for concrete pipes as part of our portfolio of services.
We are also recognized for the determination of mechanical characteristic values for a multiplicity of other materials like for example porous concrete, brick-work, mortar, screed, tiles and other concrete products.
